Help organisations create healthier workplaces Do you enjoy building new partnerships and making a real difference? Join De Nieuwe Arts as our new business sales manager and help organisations create healthier workplaces while contributing to the continued growth of our organisation.

Your role

As our new business sales manager, you will be the driving force behind commercial growth at De Nieuwe Arts. You will open doors at medium-sized and large organisations, build relationships with HR leaders and executive teams, and translate our vision of workplace health into long-term partnerships.

You will develop our presence in both the private and public sectors and take ownership of the entire sales process—from generating and qualifying leads to negotiating agreements and ensuring a seamless handover to our operations team.

Working closely with our sales team and Tender Specialist, you will convert opportunities into lasting client relationships while aligning commercial strategy and progress with the Sales Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities with organisations that are not yet working with De Nieuwe Arts.
  • Proactively engage HR Directors, absence management specialists, prevention managers and other key decision-makers.
  • Lead introductory meetings, consultative sales conversations and prepare tailored proposals.
  • Translate client challenges relating to sickness absence, employee wellbeing and sustainable employability into practical solutions.
  • Contribute to commercial campaigns and events focused on lead generation.
  • Build and maintain a strong network across both the private and public sectors.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline development and market trends.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an enthusiastic relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Has at least three years' experience in B2B sales, preferably within professional services or occupational health.
  • Combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and is not afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Has higher professional education (HBO) level or equivalent.
  • Understands organisational structures and complex decision-making processes.
  • Is results-driven, analytical and an excellent communicator.
  • Holds a valid Category B driving licence.

What can you expect

  • A key role within an ambitious and fast-growing organisation.
  • Plenty of scope for entrepreneurship, initiative and new commercial ideas.
  • A competitive salary with an attractive bonus scheme.
  • 27 days' annual leave (based on full-time employment).
  • A laptop, mobile phone and company car.
  • A freshly prepared lunch every working day.
  • A collaborative team where partnership, enjoyment and personal growth are at the heart of everything we do.
